UH-1 Iroquois

The UH-1 series of helicopters, manufactured by Bell Helicopter, was officially named Iroquois. The UH-1 was the first mass produced helicopter with a turbine powered engine. Nicknamed the Huey, it was first used in combat during the Vietnam War. 7,013 Hueys saw service in Vietnam and 3,305 were destroyed.

AH-1 HueyCobra

The AH-1 series of helicopters was officially named the HueyCobra and was manufactured by Bell Helicopter as an attack helicopter. The Cobra, as it was more commonly called, was introduced during the Vietnam War and served as the backbone of the United States Army's attack helicopter fleet. The Cobra was often referred to as the Snake.
