| Comment: | ijohn i cant remember his name i went to the reuion last year had a good time i saw jim carriere talk to carl hoeck he was the one of the pilots i got hot down in loas with he told me the other fred ledfords had died a while back i still have not heard any thing about bobby gilmore he was my gunner that day i heard he died the next day at dak-to hospital from his wounds then somebody told me he did not but they might thought about another gilmore in the 57th i think bobby was on loan from the 4th infrantry i can tell anyone who has not been to reunion they need to go not to be morbid but we all not getting any younger i wished i had gone before fred died you never know | |

I had the honor of being his door gunner on many occasions. Jerry, do you remember who our peter pilot was on the Aug 30, 1968 rescue of the folks on that medivac ship which was shot down on Hill 1258. Our AC that day was Capt. Edward Gast. | |
