Comment: Hello Soldiers: I am the daughter of Harold E Turner who was a medic that was in Vietnam and in the 1970 year book. I am very proud of my dad....crying. He past away from a blood clot at Scott AFB and is buried at Jefferson Barracks. April 1998 Harold Eugene Turner 1937-1998 I have his yearbook here with me and decided to look the 57th up. Wow!!! He use to tell me stories about being in Nam and he liked talking about Bobo. I wish you, that are still with us the very best. Have been watching the Vietnam series on TV... So very hard to watch, but I feel I owe it to every Soldier that gave our lives. I was 12 when my Daddy was there. Judith I Turner proud military brat

unit patch July 25 2015
Name: SP4 Thomas Allen Hinson
Unit: 57th AHC
Location: Kontum, Vietnan Deceased July 27,1969
Comment: I am Thomas Hinson's younger brother. He was killed July 27, 1969 coming back from a mission in Laos. He was killed with three others when their UH-1H hit a mountain before landing in Kontum. I received my draft notice in January of 1970. I served in both the US Army and the US Air Force from January 14, 1970 to May of 1977. I thank you all for your service. I do have pictures of my brothers taken from March of 1969 to July of 1969. They are on slides and I will have to make them into prints. My mother had them until her death. God bless you all.
